Dr. Amara Sayed offers comprehensive care in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology.
Passionate about patient care, Dr. Sayed sees children, adults, and the elderly. She is an advocate for her patients and strongly focuses on education, prevention, and treatment of dermatological conditions and skin cancers. She currently serves as one of the editors of The Journal of the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology and has earned the respect and trust of patients and peers alike.

In addition to medical dermatology, Dr. Sayed also has a strong interest in cosmetic dermatology including injectables and cosmetic laser treatments to help her patients look and feel their best. She enjoys being at a practice that shares her principles of patient care.
In her spare time, Dr. Sayed enjoys Texas barbecue, the beautiful outdoors, and Austin’s active music scene.

I have been coming to Dr. Jan for at least 10 years and now I have to drive 2 hours to see her since I relocated to the Waco area 4 years ago, but she is worth the drive.
