What to Expect Before, During, and After BBL Treatments

During a BBL session, your eyes will be safely protected with specialized shields or glasses. As the light is applied, you may feel a warm sensation on your skin, but the treatment is generally comfortable for most patients. While a topical anesthetic is rarely needed, your Dermatology Provider may opt for one in more sensitive areas. Sessions typically last between 15 to 30 minutes, depending on the treatment area.

After your session, you might notice mild redness and a sensation similar to a light sunburn, which usually fades within a few hours to a day.
