Tara Smith received her Medical Aesthetician training from the Ann Webb Skin Institute. She has her Laser Professional License with the state of Texas, which is the highest tier of laser licensing. Tara became an Aesthetician to gain knowledge on what products and treatments were safe to use on patients with skin cancer. At the same time, realized that she could also learn the tricks of staying young, or as she likes to say, “stay a mystical unicorn.”  

Tara is continuously seeking to gain knowledge on new treatments and ingredients. Her favorite treatments to perform are cosmetic injections (BOTOX® Cosmetic and fillers) and microneedling. Tara has extensive training on treatments such as dermaplaning, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, CoolSculpting®, laser hair removal, and many more! In her downtime, Tara likes to cruise around Lake Travis on her boat with her husband and spoil her two pugs.

Excision performed by Dr. Phillips to remove a large subcutaneous scallop shaped cyst from my mid-back went perfect. From topical anesthesia - to removal - to stitching. No pain, no bleeding afterwards. Dr. Phillips and the Nurse were outstanding.

I have been coming to Dr. Jan for at least 10 years and now I have to drive 2 hours to see her since I relocated to the Waco area 4 years ago, but she is worth the drive.
