Dr. Elaine Otchere grew up in Ann Arbor, Michigan and completed her undergraduate work at the University of Michigan. For medical school, she attended the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO. She completed her dermatology residency training at Duke University, where she served as chief resident, and then she went on to complete her Mohs surgery fellowship at the University of Iowa. Throughout her training, Dr. Otchere received several prestigious awards and has authored numerous papers, including publications in the most esteemed peer-reviewed journals in the field of Dermatology. Her research continues to be presented at local, regional, and national meetings.
A key pillar of Dr. Otchere’s practice is making time for her patients and putting their safety and comfort at the forefront. From in-depth education during patient consultations, to the meticulous approach she takes during procedures, Dr. Otchere believes her patients deserve the utmost attention to detail and compassionate care.
Outside of her dermatologic and surgical endeavors, Dr. Otchere enjoys spending time with her fiancé (Marcus), running, hiking, eating at new restaurants, weightlifting, softball, tennis, traveling, fantasy football, and so much more!
