February 16th is Presidents’ Day! Did you know that both President Clinton and President Reagan had skin cancer?

Skin cancer is the most common cancer in the United States, affecting one in five Americans. Ways to reduce your risk of developing skin cancer include wearing SPF 30 sunscreen daily, wearing protective clothing, staying out of the sun as much as possible and getting skin exams at least every 12 months. If you have never had a full skin exam, especially if you notice any new or abnormal looking growths on your skin, you should have it examined by a dermatologist right away. Your skin is the largest organ of the body, so take good care of it!

At Vitalogy Skincare our providers are dedicated to giving you and your loved ones the best possible care. Call us today to set up your annual skin exam. 512.930.3909
